He Didn’t Have Time—Until the Pain Took Over

At Connect Rehab Chiropractic & Performance, we hear this all the time:

“I just don’t have time right now.”

Carlos was no different.

He didn’t come in because he didn’t trust us. He didn’t come in because life was busy—long workdays, long commutes. He figured, like most people, the pain would eventually go away on its own.

But then the pain didn’t go away.

It got worse.

When the Body Starts Talking Loudly

Carlos began to notice a deep ache in his hip that turned into numbness and tingling running down his leg and into his foot. After work, stepping out of the car became a real challenge.

That’s when he finally made time. Not because his schedule got lighter, but because the pain was impossible to ignore.

What We Found During His Discovery Visit

When Carlos came in for his free Discovery Visit, we used The Connect Code™ to guide our evaluation. Here’s what we uncovered:

  • His hip flexors were tight and compressing a nerve
  • His piriformis muscle was also irritated and pressing from the other side
  • Long periods of sitting and poor movement patterns were making everything worse

Ironically, the thing keeping him from coming in—his commute—was also part of what was causing his symptoms.

What Happened Next

After a few sessions tailored to address the root cause and rebuild healthy movement:

The tingling went away
The nerve pain was gone
And Carlos actually
enjoyed his next drive

At his last visit, he laughed and said:

“I should’ve just listened to my wife when she told me to come in weeks ago.”

Your Takeaway

If you’ve been putting off care because you’re too busy—take this as your sign. Pain has a way of demanding your attention eventually.

Why wait until sitting, standing, or driving becomes a problem?
