Maybe you notice it when you squat.

When you get out of the car.

When you try to sit on the floor.

Or when you’re working out and one side just doesn’t seem to move like the other.

So you stretch.

You do hip flexor stretches.

You pull your knee to your chest.

You sit in a pigeon stretch.

And for a little while…

Your hips feel better.

Then the tightness comes right back.

Can you relate?

Here’s something most people don’t realize:

Feeling tight doesn’t always mean you need more flexibility.

Sometimes your body has plenty of available motion…

It just doesn’t feel confident controlling it.

Your trunk may not be giving your hips enough stability.

One hip may be moving differently than the other.

Or your body may have learned to compensate somewhere else every time you squat, walk, run, or lift.

That’s why endlessly stretching the “tight” area doesn’t always create lasting change.

At Connect, we want to understand why your hip keeps feeling restricted in the first place.

Then we work on restoring the movement you need…

And teaching your body how to actually use it.

Because the real goal isn’t to pass a mobility test.

It’s being able to squat at the gym.

Get down on the floor.

Go for a hike.

Play your sport.

Or simply move through your day without constantly thinking about your hip.

If your hips always feel tight no matter how much you stretch, click here to book a free Discovery Call with our team.
